Estimated details

Roof heights are derived from 2013 USGS LiDAR where the footprint and returns agree; newer mapped structures keep their newer height information. Landmark features use street photographs. Window counts, materials, roof forms, storefront placement and furniture models remain approximations. Canopy positions combine aerial imagery and mapping, with LiDAR-filtered heights. This is not a current survey or a photogrammetric scan.

Scenario interpretation

A local, rule-based interpreter combines supported changes: walking and cycling, traffic, trams, tree cover, parking-to-park conversions, rooftop gardens, building scale, historic/future treatments, seasons, weather and lighting. It does not use a generative AI service. Unsupported requests are reported; this is a visual exploration, not a validated planning, historical or climate model.

Preserved in every world

Street alignments, building footprints, terrain and landmark locations remain anchored to their geographic coordinates. The 96 preserved Old Town and landmark buildings retain their original modeled heights and façade materials in every scenario. Height controls affect buildings outside that core. Growth is illustrative massing, not parcel zoning.
